Shed Antler with robe and Power Knob

The following states currently prohibit the purchase and sale of antlers: Alabama, California, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina and Oklahoma. We will not ship antlers to those mentioned states.

When teaching a dog to find shed antlers using the Dokken's Training Your Dog to Hunt for Shed Antler's book, the trainer needs additional shed antlers to complete the training and do the drill recommended in the book. We are providing additional shed to the Deer Antler Shed Hunting Dog Training Kit. This shed comes with a carry rope, throwing knob and marker ribbon. This makes the training shed easy to carry and place and yet find in case the dog does not wind the shed.
This shed should be washed in Dokken's Antler Wash to remove all the scents including the human scent. Then the shed should have some Dokken's Rack Wax applied liberally to the shed in the beginning of training and less as the dog progresses through the training lessons.
Six shed is a ideal number for training but the dog can be fully taught using a lesser amount of sheds. Please note that all shed are not created equal in size, but for training the dog to find the shed lesser size is sometimes better.
